You would be forgiven if you walked into Crisler Arena in Ann Arbor on Wednesday and thought you were at a Kenny Chesney concert.
That's because Michigan's boisterous student section, The Maize Rage, decided to have a "Jort Out" for the Wolverines' game against Nebraska. What is a "Jort Out," you ask? It is a night dedicated to one of the most under-appreciated clothing item of our time: jean shorts.
Not that the students really needed to do anything special, seeing as the Wolverines were 15-0 and the No. 2 team in the nation while Nebraska was 9-6.
But when you've got the opportunity to wear Jorts, you have to take it and run with it.
Sure enough the students wore jean shorts and Michigan cruised, 62–47.
Somewhere in South Florida, Josh Harrelson is proud.
