What does Robert Griffin III have in common with grandmothers everywhere?
Both were giving away socks on Halloween.
Thanks to some Twitter sleuths, it came to light late Wednesday that the Washington Redskins rookie quarterback was handing out his signature clothing apparel to trick-or-treaters.
And the socks are actually extremely cool.
Twitter user Kyle Quinn posted a picture of himself with the socks (right), which appear to be similar to the ones Griffin wore on draft day.
In May, Griffin and Adidas unveiled a line of burgundy and gold socks with the phrase "Go Catch Your Dreams" written on them.
While Griffin has always been a sock enthusiast, he became nationally renowned for this during the 2011 Heisman Trophy presentation, when he wore these sleek Superman specials.
