Apparently, being the best basketball player of all time doesn't mean you can wear whatever you want on the golf course.

Michael Jordan, he of the six NBA Championships and five MVP awards, was recent spotted at the exclusive La Gorce Country Club in Miami Beach wearing cargo pants. According to the New York Post, the course has a strict dress code of a collared shirt and Bermuda shorts.

His Airness was given an opportunity to change pants, but he apparently didn't want to. A source told the New York Post that other members complained about Jordan's attire, and he may even be banned from the club because of his stubbornness.

“Michael Jordan did wear cargo pants," a representative for Jordan told the Post. "He had been there many times before and had worn cargo pants previously, and had never been made aware that he was violating any dress code. This time, he was made aware of the violation on the 12th hole, and at that point ... he did refuse to interrupt his game, and return to the clubhouse and change. We were not aware that he is not allowed to return to La Gorce. I guess it's their loss -- as MJ is a great golfer, and a great guest."

It's unfortunate that, if this report is true, Jordan won't be allowed back at La Gorce. Luckily for him, he'll be welcomed with open arms at any other country club in the world.

As Steve DelVecchio over at Larry Brown Sports notes, this is just the latest in a long line of Jordan's fashion mishaps. In fact, there's even a tumblr devoted to Jordan's unfortunate outfits.
