Apparently ESPN's social media accounts haven't gotten any friendlier with hockey teams after its unfortunate exchange with the San Jose Sharks last month.

On Thursday ESPN's SportsCenter account tweeted that Alfonso Soriano is the king of New York, not Kendrick Lamar, the rapper who declared himself the king of the Big Apple earlier this week.

The Rangers, who tweeted that their goalie Henrik Lundqvist is the king of New York earlier this week, seemed to take offense at the tweet (stick with this one, Twitter wars are sometimes hard to follow) and snarked back the following:


While it may seem like a strange fight, ESPN often draws the ire of hockey fans who believe the network deliberately ignores their sport.
