Sports teams have done a great job of helping members of the military give their loved ones a homecoming surprise. The premise is pretty simple, but they always deliver, and our new favorite might be this one, courtesy of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Moments before 6-year-old Jackson Aguirre and his 5-year-old sister, Alanna, threw out the first pitches at the Diamondbacks-Cardinals game in Phoenix, a video of their dad popped up on the JumboTron. Deployed to Afghanistan, Air Force Lt. Colonel Paul Aguirre told his kids in the clip that he was sorry to be missing their big moment but that he'd see them soon.
