Even after an accident as a child left him without hands, Ibrahim Hamato was determined to continue playing the sport he loved.

So at age 13, Hamato devised a way to play ping pong while holding the paddle with his mouth. In order to serve, Hamato, who hails from Egypt, kicks the ball up with his foot and catches it with the paddle.

He's perfected the skill over the years, and recently he journeyed to Tokyo to face off against some of the world's best table tennis players at the ZEN-NOH 2014 World Team Table Tennis Championships.

"I hope this shows people that nothing is impossible as long as you work hard," Hamato says in the video below.
