To anyone who texted Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin following his team's dominant performance in the Super Bowl: Sorry, but he probably won't respond.

The 26-year-old said he had 242 congratulatory text messages waiting for him when he first got to his phone, and dozens rolled in in the hours after the big game. And while he surely appreciates the love, he says he won't be responding to each and every one.

Irvin's fellow linebacker, Malcolm Smith, likely had as many, if not more, messages than Irvin. Smith won the game's MVP award after returning an interception for a touchdown in the first half and recovering a fumble in the second half. He and Irvin helped anchor a Seattle defense that nearly shut out the league's top-ranked offense.

When ThePostGame caught up with Smith shortly after the game, he said he hadn't checked his phone yet. But, unlike Irvin, he suggested that he would be responding to all the messages he received.
