In the movie Field of Dreams, Kevin Costner's character builds a baseball field in his yard and invites the game's legends to play ball with him.

Perhaps following in Costner's footsteps, NHL legend Bill Guerin may be on to something with his most recent project.

According to TMZ, the Hall of Famer and three-time Olympian just finished up a $500,000 ice rink in his backyard.

Guerin, who now works as a player development coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins, reportedly even bought a Zamboni to keep the ice fresh.

Via TMZ, here's are before and after photos of the rink at Guerin's home outside of Pittsburgh:

In the photo you can see a basketball hoop on one side of the ice, so perhaps this rink can be transformed into a basketball court.
