Quarterback D.J. Shockley holds a special spot in the history of Georgia football as being just one of two Bulldogs to be named MVP in the SEC championship game. Shockley threw two touchdown passes and ran for another in the Dawgs' 34-14 win against LSU in the 2005 conference title game. Shockley was on campus for the team's home opener this season against South Carolina and he was among those who explained why the game-day experience in Athens is one of the best in college football.
