As Brazil's libero, Fabiana Oliveira is used to going to lengths to dig out low balls. But what she did in a preliminary contest against South Korea this week was other-worldly, even by her standards.

With Brazil losing by one point in the second game of the contest, one of Oliveira's teammates mishit a ball and sent it flying in the wrong direction. Oliveira went sprinting after it and ended up about 10 feet out of bounds. Still a few feet short of the ball, Oliveira dove for it and kicked it backwards. Her touch was perfect, and Brazil was able to hang on and win the point.

As amazing as Oliveira's effort was, her team couldn't match it throughout the contest. Brazil lost in straight sets.

Is this the best play we've seen in the Olympics? Maybe not, but it's certainly up there.
