It was a historic weekend for Andy Murray. A few weeks after falling to Roger Federer in a heartbreaking Wimbledon finale, Murray got his revenge Sunday, cruising past Federer in straight sets at the All England Lawn Club. Hours later, Murray and partner Laura Robson took silver in mixed doubles.

It was a day of celebration for a country that hadn't seen a British man win gold in Olympic tennis since 1908. In fact, even Murray's dogs got in on the fun.

Murray's border terrier, Maggie May, tweeted a photo from her "personal" Twitter account of her and another terrier, Rusty, wearing Murray's gold and silver medals.

And, of course, Maggie May was sure to to snag the gold.

Not surprisingly, Murray's dog does not actually operate a Twitter account. It is Murray's girlfriend, Kim Sears, who tweets for Maggie May.

As of Monday afternoon, Rusty has not filed a response tweet.
