The Maryland Terrapins officially join the Big Ten conference Tuesday, despite backlash from fans and executives from the ACC. The move for Maryland comes after 61 years of being an ACC charter member. To build support for the Big Ten transition, Maryland is using former Terps and prominent Maryland/D.C. sports figures to show support on social media with photos of themselves wearing special Maryland/Big Ten glasses and the hashtag #ThinkB1G.
