Jaromir Jagr showed his experience by teeing up a perfect quote for the media in advance of the Stanley Cup Final.
"Are you guys still surprised I'm alive?" he cracked.
Well, consider that it has been 21 years since Jagr has appeared in the Stanley Cup Final. Back then, the league had just 22 teams.
Now skating with the Boston Bruins, Jagr still plugging away at age 41 after breaking into the league as an 18-year-old in Pittsburgh.
Is this series against the Blackhawks going to be his last hurrah? Perhaps. But don't bet on it.
