Jennings won the 1999 national championship with BYU and the FIVB World Tour Gold in 2010. He also has won seven AVP events.

Finch helped lead the U.S. softball team to a gold in the 2004 Olympics and a silver in 2008. She has thrown two perfect games in the National Pro Fastpitch league for the Chicago Bandits. Daigle was drafted 31st overall in 1999 by the Diamondbacks. He appeared in 33 games in three seasons in MLB.

She was also inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2010 as part of the first class that included a woman. Ferraro played 18 seasons in the NHL and twice scored 40 goals. He finished his career with 408 goals and 490 assists, totaling 898 points.

He received a World Series ring for his part in Boston's 2004 championship season.

Treanor, drafted in the fourth round in 1994 by Kansas City, was a catcher for the Marlins, Rangers, Tigers, Royals and Dodgers during his nine MLB seasons.

Meyers (flanked by her sons) was the first woman to have an NBA contract when she signed with the Indiana Pacers in 1980. She was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993. Drysdale was a Cy Young Winner (1962), three-time World Series champion and a nine time All-Star. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984 and died in 1993 from a heart attack.

She was inducted into the FSU Hall of Fame in 1997, and played professionally on the beach circuit. Yamaguchi won the 1992 Olympic gold medal in figure skating. She also won the world championship in 1991 and 1992, and was inducted into the U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame in 2005. Hedican was a defenseman who played more than 1,000 NHL games. He won the Stanley Cup in 2006 with the Hurricanes and was part of two U.S. Olympic hockey teams.

Comaneci won five Olympic gold medals in gymnastics at the 1976 and 1980 Olympics. Her 10.0 on the uneven bars in 1976 was the first perfect mark in Olympic history. Conner won golds in the all-around and parallel bars at the 1984 Olympics.

Griffith-Joyner, who died in 1998, is known as the fastest woman ever, holding world records at 100 and 200 meters. She won three golds at the 1988 Olympics thanks to those two events and the 4x100 relay. Joyner won the 1984 gold in the triple jump, becoming the first American in 80 years to top the podium. That same year, he was honored with the Jim Thorpe Award for best American male in field events.
