DeAngelo Hall missed 13 games last season with a torn Achilles tendon. When the three-time Pro Bowl cornerback hobbled off the field during the Redskins' 32-21 Thursday night loss to the Giants, Washington fans held their breath.

A 12-year-old Redskins fan named Brian advised Hall to keep his head up.

In the bowels of MetLife Stadium, Hall found solace in this special moment. To thank Brian for the prayer, Hall gave the youngster his jersey.

Hall will have an MRI Friday on his strained right big toe. The injury happened in non-contact fashion.

Hall's moment with Brian was captured by Shaun O'Hara, a three-time Pro Bowl center with the Giants who is now an analyst for NFL Network.

O'Hara used the hashtag #MeanJoeGreene in reference to the old Coca-Cola commercial, which the Redskins also posted.

Hall has 16 tackles on the season. His 43 career interceptions rank 63rd all-time and second among active players.
