Mark Trumbo didn't have to show up for the Los Angeles Angels Kids Foundation Holiday Party this week. After all, the All-Star 27-year-old was traded from the Angels to the Diamondbacks one day before the event.
But in an extremely classy move, Trumbo showed up and signed autographs for the dozens of youngsters in attendance. A Reddit user posted the following photo of Trumbo signing autographs for some kids:
Marcia Smith of the Orange County Register confirmed that Trumbo was at the event:

This was a really nice move by Trumbo, who must've been at least a little disappointed to be traded from his hometown team and the franchise that drafted him in 2004. The slugger, who has blasted 95 home runs the past three seasons, also took to Twitter to thank Angels fans:
Extremely thankful for the overwhelming support from the Angels faithful. Couldn't have ever asked for a better opportunity than what I got.
