Evan Lysacek won the gold medal in figure skating at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, but he won't compete in Sochi because of an injury. Coming back from a torn labrum in his left hip, Lysaceck decided in December to stop training because his doctor had told him he was risking permanent damage.

But Lysacek will still making the trip to Sochi, where he will serve as a correspondent for the Today show on NBC as well as making appearances on behalf of sponsors. Before making the trip, Lysacek had some time to help bring the Olympic spirit to Sesame Street.
