Even though she didn't win a medal, Kate Hansen has become one of the breakout stars of the 2014 Sochi games.
The 21-year-old has gained nationwide fame as the "dancing luger." Before her competition she grooved to Beyonce and later she danced with teammate Erin Hamlin's bronze medal.
While this is the first time most people are hearing Kate Hansen's name, her fame is old news to her. In fact, in fourth grade she predicted that one day she'd be well known. Check out this entry from one of her old yearbooks:

Hansen, who hails from the Los Angeles area and attends BYU, was spot on when she said she'd "absolutely be famous (maybe)." And it didn't even take that long for her prediction to become reality.
It sounds like Hansen was always full of energy, and it's nice to see she's channeled that into dancing rather than attacking her dog.
