Ever wonder how biathletes train year-round for the Olympics when snow may not be that plentiful? Marc-Andre Bedard, a Canadian biathlete, demonstrated an incredibly terrifying looking cross country skiing treadmill in a recent YouTube video.
From the YouTube description: "Using GPS equipment and high-tech cameras, the treadmill can replicate the trails at Sochi 2014 or other courses around the world which can potentially give Canadian athletes a significant edge by allowing them to train on the sport's toughest and most demanding courses right at home."
