It's safe to say Lance Stephenson has put his three-year, $27 million contract to good use.

The Charlotte Hornets guard posted a photo to Instagram of himself, presumably in his home, surrounded by some interesting ornaments. Check it out:

The first thing you might notice are the words "Born Ready" written on the wall behind Stephenson. That is Stephenson's nickname, one he earned because of the rare skill he displayed at a young age. He's embraced it so much that on his Twitter page, his location is set to "BORN READY."

As if it wasn't gaudy enough to have one's nickname displayed prominently on the wall, Stephenson also appears to have a painting of himself lying around.

And, to top things off, Stephenson is wearing custom "Frozen"-themed Timberland boots in this photo. He may be the only man in the NBA to have a princess painted on his shoes:

Not that he was ever short on ego, but Stephenson appears to have gained a considerable amount of self-esteem after his stellar 2013-14 season and the ensuing free agency frenzy. While a member of the Indiana Pacers in 2013-14, Stephenson started 78 games and led the league with five triple-doubles.

He was pursued by several teams last summer and ended up signing with the Hornets. Things didn't go as planned in Charlotte, and Stephenson only started 25 games and averaged 8.2 points, his lowest figure since 2011-12. Toward the end of the season Stephenson even fell out of the rotation.
