Nick Wood, the fan who snagged Shane Vicotrino's grand slam ball at Game 6 of the ALCS at Fenway Park this weekend, isn't sure what he's going to do with his new piece of memorabilia.
And while he decides the balls fate, he has not let it leave his sight.
Wood told several Boston news stations that he's even slept with the ball in his hand.
"I woke up this morning and I had my hand under the pillow, and I'm holding onto the ball," Wood said
At this point he says he's not sure what to do with the ball. He's exchanged phone numbers with Victorino, who says he would like the ball back. Wood also said he'd consider trading the ball for tickets to future Red Sox games.
It's a good problem to have for Wood, who was playing video games earlier in the day when he got the call from a buddy asking him if he'd like to attend Game 6.
