The Denver Broncos are marking the Fourth of July by introducing a scoreboard to free all their fans from the embarrassment of small scoreboards at Mile High Stadium. According to a report in the Denver Post, the team will unveil its latest addition during the fireworks celebration tonight.
It is the third largest scoreboard in the NFL, measuring at 220-feet long and 40-feet high.
The stadium, which is also used for Denver Outlaws lacrosse, is undergoing a $30 million stadium improvement project. Other additions, according to the report, include new HD video displays, sound upgrade and flat screen TVs throughout the concourse.
It won't be a total surprise for many fans, however. The team has been tweeting out early looks at the scoreboard for the last few weeks.
