Robert Griffin III will report to Washington Redskins camp this summer a changed man.

That's because the young quarterback and 2012 NFL Rookie of the Year will be tying the knot this summer with his fiancée, Rebecca Liddicoat.

Griffin's mom, Jackie, told FoxDC that Griffin and Liddicoat have planned a summer wedding. If this comes as news to most Redskins fans, they're not alone. Jackie Griffin says her son likes to keep his personal life low-key.

"You would never know, based on his press conferences and everything he does in the media, but he still has that shyness to him and that quietness to him," Jackie Griffin said. "He loves being at home, quiet and to himself. That hasn’t changed."

Sarah Kogod of the Washington Post did a little digging and found a wedding registry that may belong to Griffin and Liddicoat. According to the registry, the date of the wedding is July 6.

Griffin and Liddicoat, who is from Colorado, met at Baylor. Griffin reportedly proposed to her in 2010, on the night he scored four touchdowns in a game against Kansas State. Over candlelight, Griffin asked Liddicoat to marry him with a self-penned love song.
