Shortly after golfer Adam Scott of Australia won the Masters on Sunday, actor Adam Scott of "Parks and Recreation" was the recipient of a deluge of Twitter jokes:

--Congratulations to Adam Scott, I hope he's not leaving "Parks and Rec."
--Hey, who is his caddy? Nick Offerman?
--Hey, Adam, you know what's way below par? Your acting.

At first it was funny, but Scott quickly became fed up. He appeared on Conan O'Brien's talk show Monday to set the record straight.

"My life has become hell," he lamented.

So Scott asked Twitter clowns everywhere to lay off the jokes. And maybe people will take it easy on Scott, but not before O'Brien played one final gag at his expense.
