Michael Jordan has a message for LeBron James: Anything you can do, I can do better.

On the same day that photos surfaced of James' "save the date" cards for his wedding, Jordan applied for a marriage license at the Palm Beach County courthouse.

The Associated Press reported that Jordan visited the courthouse on Thursday morning to file for the license, which applicants are required to do in person. The license is good for 60 days, so presumably Jordan plans on tying the know within the next few months.

Jordan got engaged to Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto, in December 2011. He was previously married to Juanita Vanoy for 17 years.

The Hall of Famer and six-time NBA champion owns a 38,000-square-foot house on three acres at The Bear's Club in Jupiter. The $12 million mansion is believed to be one of the most expensive non-waterfront homes in South Florida.
