A former Tennessee Titans cheerleader has been arrested and indicted on charges of sexual battery and solicitation of a minor.

Police told News Channel 5 in Nashville that, while visiting a friend's home recently, 42-year-old Elizabeth Leigh Garner followed a 12-year-old boy into the bathroom, where she fondled him and attempted to seduce him.

The report also states that Garner, who is married, told police she was intoxicated that night and confused the 12-year-old with another man who was at the residence.

"That's just absolutely no excuse for sexual assaulting a child," said Kyle Evans with the Murfreesboro Police Department. "If you can't tell the difference between a 12-year-old and an adult then there are problems."

Garner told News Channel 5 that she is innocent.

Garner was in the news in 2008 when she made the Titans' cheerleading squad despite being older than most of her colleagues. She has not been affiliated with the Titans for several years.

This is not the first time an NFL cheerleader has been accused of pursuing an underage male. Sarah Jones, a former Cincinnati Bengals cheerleader and high school teacher, recently pleaded guilty to having sexual relations with one of her students.
