As if winning his first Super Bowl and being named the game's MVP wasn't enough excitement for Joe Flacco this weekend, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback announced Monday that he and his wife, Dana, are expecting their second child.
Joe and Dana, high school sweethearts who married in June 2011, found out Dana was pregnant two weeks ago. Not exactly known to be prone to emotion, Flacco said he and his wife are "excited" for their second child.
The couple's first child, Stephen Vincent Flacco, was born in June. The Flaccos announced to their family that Dana was pregnant with Stephen at Thanksgiving in 2011, around the time the Ravens squared off against the 49ers in Baltimore.
"It's a good luck thing," Flacco said of playing the 49ers.
The couple revealed the good news to family and friends at a Super Bowl after party early Monday morning.
