Another year, another blonde bombshell for Australian tennis prodigy Bernard Tomic.
After a public and sometimes troubled
relationship with model Donay Meijer, with whom Tomic split last March, Tomic is reportedly now dating 20-year-old Chelsey Grbcic. In a bizarre coincidence, Grbcic and Meijer are both daughters of well known real estate agents in Australia's Gold Coast.
The mercurial Tomic struggled during the second half of 2012, but he appears to be on track heading into the Australian Open. He recently won the Apia International in Sydney, and is lined up for a prime time matchup with Roger Federer which one writer said could "bring the country to a standstill." You can bet Grbcic will be cheering Tomic on from the stands in Melbourne.
It's hard enough for a prodigy like Tomic to handle all the spotlight on his tennis career, much less his personal life, but here's to hoping he's learned a lesson and can focus more on becoming the star that many predict he will be.
