After the uproar regarding Brent Musburger's comments about Katherine Webb during Monday's BCS national championship game, one company has actually decided to use the incident in an advertising pitch.

Spirit Airlines sent an email to potential customers with an image of a broadcaster using binoculars to presumably check out some female fans (who, not coincidentally, are wearing red and fans of Musburger).

This is not the first time Spirit has tried to capitalized on a viral story. After Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's debate gaffe in the fall, Spirit created a "binders full of sales" campaign.

The airline also riffed on former presidential candidate Herman Cain's "9-9-9" tax plan with a "9-9-9 vacation package."
