Tim Tebow has received a lot of anonymous hate this year, so it must be nice for the struggling New York Jets backup quarterback to get some anonymous love for once.
The New York Post's Bart Hubbuch's snapped this photo of a bouquet of ballons sent to Tebow this week from an anonymous fan.
Along with several colorful balloons, one of them reads, "You're Special!"
Tebow told ESPNNewYork.com's Jane McManus that the gift was "nice" and that things like that "happen sometimes."
The backup quarterback's season only seems to be getting worse and worse, and last week against the St. Louis Rams he completed one pass for -1 yards and rushed twice for -5 yards.
Unlike last year's improbable playoff run with the Denver Broncos, Tebow is definitely not having a "special" season with the Jets.
Or, maybe, the balloon is a reference to Tebow's new role on special teams. While he hasn't excelled as a quarterback, he is playing a new role as a punt protector and has handled several fake punts.
