Either Rickie Fowler is a huge Carly Rae Jepsen fan or he just went really far out of his way to score a date.

The 23-year-old professional golfer tweeted a photo of his personalized Titleist Vokey 60-L this week and smack in the middle are the three most overused words of the year: "Call Me...Maybe."

Fowler tweeted that Jepsen would approve of the club, and he's probably right. Getting her famous phrase on Fowler's lob wedge may not be as illustrious an honor as, say, the dozens of parody videos shot over the summer, but it's better than nothing.

Jepsen would also be happy to hear that the "Call Me Maybe" craze is still grasping for air among professional athletes. True, it was the song of the summer, but hasn't it faded already?

In Fowler's defense, getting "Call Me...Maybe" written on his club is much cooler than "Gangnam Style."
