In light of the recent steroid suspensions in the Bay Area -- San Francisco Giants outfielder Melky Cabrera and Oakland A's pitcher Bartolo Colon were each benched 50 games for using illegal substances -- the wife of one A's hurler decided to have a little fun with her hubby.
Amanda McCarthy, wife of A's starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy, jokingly tweeted at Major League Baseball, asking if a certain male-enhancement pill would violate the league's rule's on performance-enhancing drugs.
Luckily for the couple, this is one performance enhancer that's not technically a PED.
