Good things happen when Jason Terry gets pre-season tattoos. In fact, the last time "Jet" got inked before a season, he and his Dallas teammates Mavericks won an NBA championship.

Now, Terry is back at it.

The Boston Celtics guard got a new tattoo this weekend. This one is of the Celtics mascot, Lucky the Leprechaun. But instead of the traditional basketball in Lucky's right hand, Terry had a championship trophy drawn up.

It's a bold move by Terry. The 34-year-old used his last tattoo as motivation, and it worked. But things have changed since 2011.
