Chris Kaman has never shied away from his affinity for hunting. The center, who recently signed with the Dallas Mavericks, has tweeted photos of the prize kills that are on display around his house.
None of Kaman's hunting tweets has caused as much of a stir as one this weekend, when he tweeted a photo of himself holding two rifles and wearing an ammunition belt. He wrote, "Packing up for Dallas, and about to head to the shooting range one last time before I make my journey to TX! #NRA." The timing of the tweet seemed odd, as it was just two days after the massacre of moviegoers by a gunman at a theater in Aurora, Colo.
Kaman, who is normally jovial and lighthearted on his Twitter account, appears to have removed the tweet.
