Sure, you can spend $35 and buy a Halloween mask of this NBA star's face, or you can (sort of) purchase the real deal.

Kobe Bryant is unloading the face-gear he was forced to wear for several weeks earlier this season. The Lakers star needed the protective clear mask after Heat star Dwyane Wade broke Bryant's nose with a vicious foul in the All-Star game.

Aside from being a really cool conversation piece, Kobe's protective mask has legitimate value among sports memorabilia collectors. As of Wednesday morning, the "original and worn Lakers Kobe Bryant signed clear face mask from 2012" had 38 bids on eBay with the current leading bid at $2,550.00.

All of the money raised from the winning bid will go to the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need through educational and cultural enrichment opportunities, financial support and community programs.

Kobe has won five NBA championships and two NBA Finals MVP awards during his career that began in 1996. The posting is restricted to pre-approved buyers and will be available until May 8, 2012.
