When you think of fans fighting at football games, the cheap seats come to mind, not the luxury boxes, but that convention was thwarted (along with sensibility) in the Sunshine State.

Florida State and Florida had lousy seasons on the field, but it may have bubbled over when fans from the schools started slugging it out in the VIP seats. Police attempted to keep the surveillance video out of the media's hands, but WTSP-TV has a copy which shows Seminoles and Gators supporters scuffling in a luxury sky bock hallway at Gainsville's Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

The video shows a fan walking out of an elevator and confronting another fan. That first fan deliveries a push to the second fan and then its on –- a free-for-all.

Police ended up detaining two people, and only one has been charged. One person ended up in the hospital from the melee.

Drinking isn't allowed in the stands at University of Florida home football games, however, it is allowed in the skybox suites where the fight took place.

10 News reports a 30-ticket suite for Gators football games goes for $87,000 and a 20-seat suite is sold for $58,000 per season.

Florida State beat Florida 21-7 in the game played on Nov. 26. The Gators closed out a disappointing 6-6 regular season, while the Seminoles finished 8-4.
