Chad Ochocinco has had a rocky transition to New England. Some say the former Bengals star is struggling to learn coach Bill Belichick's complex Patriots offense.
While that's a work in progress, Ocho is also having issues keeping track of major American holidays.
To be fair, many Americans confuse Memorial Day, which marks the beginning of Summer, and Labor Day, which for many means the start of the college and NFL seasons. After a number of his followers retweeted that message, Ocho owned his mistake and had fun with it.
But as long as Ochocinco figures out when to zig and zag on the field, Patriots fans can deal with his Twitter lapses. After all, the 10-year veteran had 10,000 yards receiving and 66 touchdowns in Cincinnati -- all after Labor Day.
