It has been an ugly couple of years for the personal reputation of respected college basketball coach Rick Pitino, but he's working to get his stature back.

Pitino, the first college hoops coach in history to lead three different programs (Providence, Kentucky, Louisville) to a Final Four, is playing love matchmaker.

The Louisville coach was more effective than eHarmoney for Leslie Visser. The veteran CBS sportscaster, divorced from husband Dick Stockton after 27 years of marriage, was introduced to her new husband by Pitino.

Millionaire businessman Bob Kanuth, the captain of Harvard's 1969 basketball team, will tie the knot with Visser at a romantic Harvard chapel ceremony this weekend.

Pitino will be in attendance along with skating legend Nancy Kerrigan, golfer, Nick Faldo, CBS CEO Leslie Moonves and former Yankees star Tino Martinez, among others.

The former Celtics and Knicks coach is trying to turn his public life around following an ugly extortion attempt that including alleged sex under a table at a Louisville restaurant.

In February Pitino's accuser Karen Sypher, 50, was found guilty of extortion and lying to federal agents. She was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison for trying to get cash, cars and other gifts from the Louisville coach.
