Taking his talents to South Beach might have helped his sun exposure, but popularity is another story.

According to bombshell survey results, U.S. sports fans don't think much of LeBron James. The "King of Zero Rings," is no longer ranked among the top 10 most popular athletes in America.

The Miami Heat star was ranked third in 2009 and sixth in 2010, while playing in chilly Cleveland. Now, despite winning the Eastern Conference title, he's on the outside looking in.

LeBron joined former Vikings QB Brett Favre, Saints QB Drew Brees and NASCAR's Dale Earnhardt Jr. among athletes whose popularity has taken a hit.

Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant and retired legend Michael Jordan all finished in the top 10, ahead of James.

Yankees star Derek Jeter edged out Colts QB Peyton Manning to finish atop the survey. Interestingly, Jeter finished tops with men, while Manning was No. 1 with women.

The Harris Poll results are based on 2,163 adults surveyed online in June.
