It was already a surprise to see Memphis Grizzlies owner Robert Pera listed as a participant in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. The lineups are usually filled with entertainers such as Kevin Hart, Common, Win Butler and Nick Cannon. But an even bigger surprise was seeing Pera, a 36-year-old tech whiz, throw down a dunk during warmups. After loosening up with a few layups, Pera, who is reportedly 6-3, goes in for the slam:

A native of Silicon Valley, Pera worked for Apple before starting his own company, Ubiquiti Networks, which develops wireless-networking gear, in 2005.

In 2013, Pera challenged Michael Jordan to play a one-on-one game worth $1 million for charity.
