Jameis Winston may have lost his favorite target, Kelvin Benjamin, to the NFL, but he can rest easy knowing that he doesn't have to look hard to find another reliable receiver.
Florida State's Heisman Trophy winning quarterback posted a video to Instagram of his girlfriend, Breion Allen, pulling down an impressive one-handed catch recently.
Not only does Allen make the grab, as Winston notes, she also completes the play with a Euro step and a layup. That part, in fact, may be more natural to her. Allen, who is 5-foot-9, plays basketball at Rice.
Allen, who grew up close to Winston in Alabama and has been dating the star quarterback since the two were in high school, comes from a football family. Her cousin, Sean Jackson, played football at Florida State and then with the Houston Oilers. Another cousin, Sam Shade, played at Alabama and then with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Washington Redskins.
Allen clearly got some of her family's football genes.
