A Missouri man has won all the Big Macs, McNuggets or whatever else he wants from the McDonald's menu after sinking a three-point shot at halftime of a College of the Ozarks basketball game.
Michael Quin, a blind man from Springfield, Mo., connected on a three-pointer at a recent game to the absolute delight of the crowd. Here's the video of Quin's achievement, which was featured on SportsCenter's Top Plays on Feb. 16.
According to a KSPR news report about Quin, the 54-year-old went blind and lost much of his mental capacity after a series of falls several years ago. As it turns out, the shot he hit wasn't out of the ordinary for Quin.
Here's more about the incredible man and his heartwarming story (via Joanna Small, KSPR):
As for how much the shot was worth, well, maybe not as much as you might expect. Certainly less than Quin deserves for making the basket.
$420 value MT @SportsCenter Michael Quin, who's blind, hits 3 at college halftime to win a McD's extra value meal every week for a year.
