If you watch one water polo play all year, make it this one.

In the final seconds of a recent game in Serbia, Red Star goalie Denis Sefik scored an amazing cross-pool goal. As you can see in the video below, it appears Sefik had one second left in regulation so he chucked the ball across the pool. Thanks to a fortuitous bounce it skipped by the opposing goalie, giving Sefik's team the win. You might need to see the slow-mo replay to appreciate this.

If you couldn't tell by this video, water polo is a big deal in Serbia. The Serbian men have won bronze at the last two Olympics.

According to Wikipedia, Sefik, 37, won silver as a member of the team from Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Olympics.
