We've all seen those awkward, uncomfortable local TV spots featuring athletes. They make us cringe and look away.

In a hilarious new skit, Philadelphia Flyers winger Scott Hartnell mocks those athlete spots by attempting to do one of this own. He is told by the director to have no expression and no inflection in his voice. The result is wonderful:
If all athlete commercials were this bad, er, good, they'd be a lot more fun to watch.
