In elementary school physical education class, everyone is taught an important skill: How to pick teams.

The jocks will never admit it, but as captains, they do not pick based on talent or loyalties. Unconsciously or not, they pick based on stereotypes.

From elementary school courts to pickup courts for middle-aged adults, the stereotypes survive. Thanks to the guys at Dude Perfect, the world now has a video clip to help people understand basketball stereotypes.

There are many excuses for not picking "Mr. Excuses." Also, watch out for "The Looks Can Be Deceiving Guy."
