It was a tough day for A.J. Pierzynski on Wednesday when some catchers' worst nightmares came true. No, he didn't lose a wild pitch, or miss a tag. He was left fighting with a moth that flew into his mask.

"Look at this thing dive bomb," crowed one of the play-by-play announcers. "It attacked him."

The moth incident came only a day after the Rangers' catcher was ejected in the middle of Yu Darvish's no-hitter.

“This is the kind of stuff that just happens to me,” Pierzynski said. “I guess it’s all more stuff for the book after I retire. I was upset that we walked a guy. I said a bad word and Ron tossed me. That was it.”

We guess he'd say the same about Wednesday's issues.
