By most accounts, the Washington Redskins' training camp got off to a solid start this week.
Thousands of fans came out to watch as the team opened a new facility in Richmond, Va. Perhaps most importantly, star quarterback Robert Griffin III appeared healthy and in good spirits, perhaps ready to start the season after having offseason knee surgery.
But for one diehard Redskins fan, Washington's camp opener was an absolute nightmare.
A video posted by YouTube user Kimberly Lewis shows a woman bawling because she could not get an autograph at Redskins camp. The woman says she took off work and got to the camp at 6:30 a.m., but still came away empty-handed.
"All I wanted was an autograph, I couldn't even get that," she says, wiping tears away from her eyes. "No players came to where I was standing."
This is a reaction you might expect from a child but certainly not an adult.
Nothing says NFL like crazed fans and teary reaction videos. Welcome back, football, we've missed you.
