Matt Harvey of the Mets will be the first pitcher to start the All-Star Game in his home stadium since Roger Clemens with the Astros in 2004.

Playing his first full season in the majors, Harvey has been one of the few bright spots for the Mets. He's 7-2 with a 2.35 ERA, and leads the National League with 147 strikeouts.

But do New York fans really know who he is? Or more specifically would they recognize him if he stuck a microphone in their faces for a TV interview? Harvey put this premise to the test by doing some man-on-the-street questioning on unsuspecting New Yorkers for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

He encounters a man who is a big enough fan to be wearing a Harvey jersey but wasn't so fast to catch on to the bit. Also understanding the opportunity to cross-promote another of his endeavors, Harvey uses his nude appearance in the Body Issue of ESPN The Magazine as a prop.
