Autocross driver Jake Wile recently took his girlfriend, Maggie O'Brien, out for a heart-racing drive through a course at Moore Airfield in Ayer, Mass.
Then Wile stopped the car, and that's O'Brien's heart really started racing.
Wile turned to his girlfriend and said, "I've got to ask you something."
"What?"
"I've got to ask you something."
"What?"
"You're the most amazing woman I've ever met in my life. Every minute has been a joy. I want you to be on my team for life. I want you to be my co-driver for life."
Wile pulls out the ring and O'Brien accepts, in what may be the first ever marriage proposal inside an autocross car. Wile begins the proposal at the 1:30 mark:
