As it is often the case when the presidents really get into their race Nationals' games, the baseball game wasn't the most entertaining action in Washington, D.C., on Saturday night.

Abraham Lincoln (the mascot-like figure, not the real one) stole the show when he made a WWE-like move on Teddy Roosevelt, diving in from the stands on top of Roosevelt for the tackle.

Lincoln was an accomplished wrestler in his day, so if that helped inspire this maneuver, give the Nationals bonus points for historical authenticity.

Thanks to the antics, neither president won the race. Instead it was George Washington who dashed across the line first in victory.

For the record, the Nationals beat the Mets 4-1 in that game.
